    Link Solutions is seeking a System Administrator (Associate-Level) to join our team in Clarksburg, WV.

     

    + Must be a US Citizen

    + Secret Clearance required

    + Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

     

    The System Administrator will provide IT support at the Clarksburg Local Network Enterprise Center (LNEC) in support of the Biometric Operations Department (BOD). This role ensures uninterrupted operations across Army Information Technology Portfolio (AITP) systems, including NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Mission System Environments, enabling biometric identification capabilities for Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational partners aligned with the National Defense Strategy.

     

    Our System Administrator will be responsible for providing IT support services, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) policies to uphold operational readiness and mission success.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Manage Windows Server environments and support Active Directory, Group Policy, and MECM operations.

    + Install and configure operating systems and software updates following Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

    + Perform system patching, PowerShell scripting, and release management activities.

    + Provide IT services support and troubleshooting for hardware and software across different network environments.

    + Schedule and maintain system backups, ensuring data/media recoverability and integrity.

    + Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams to support remediation, patching, and vulnerability scanning efforts.

    + Secret Clearance required

    + Must have two (2) years of relevant experience working in an IT or Service Desk environment.

    + IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).

    + Experience providing IT support services and troubleshooting across mixed environments, servers, mobile devices, A/V equipment, and Active Directory.

    + Working knowledge of operating system delivery methods (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), etc.) and troubleshooting command-specific applications.

    Preferred:

    + BA/BS in computer science or information technology.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

    + Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.

    + Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

    + A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.

    + Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

    + Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
