    Description

    Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Specialist to support our clients with their financial and customer account needs. This role suits professionals who excel at maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing account activities, and providing exceptional customer support. The Account Specialist will handle a variety of key responsibilities, including account management, reconciliations, and troubleshooting account discrepancies.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring accurate records of financial transactions.

    + Perform account reconciliations, identifying and resolving inconsistencies or discrepancies.

    + Assist with invoicing, collections, and payment processing to ensure timeliness and accuracy.

    + Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving account-related issues.

    + Prepare routine account status reports and present findings to team leads or management.

    + Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and accounting, to resolve account discrepancies.

    + Monitor accounts for accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

    + Support efforts to streamline processes and improve efficiency in account operations.

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of experience in account management, customer service, or financial operations.

    + Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.

    + Familiarity with CRM software and accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload.
