• Litigation/Transactional Legal Assistant

    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Legal Assistant to join a dynamic mid-size law firm in Seattle. This position involves providing comprehensive support to attorneys in commercial litigation and business transactional matters. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in litigation assistance and demonstrate proficiency in key legal processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage state and federal E-filing, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.

    • Coordinate and maintain calendaring systems to track important deadlines and schedules.

    • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court requirements.

    • Organize and handle discovery processes, including document preparation and management.

    • Provide direct support to up to three attorneys, assisting with case preparation and administrative needs.

    • Facilitate communication with clients and opposing counsel as required.

    • Prepare case files and maintain organized records for easy retrieval.

    • Assist in drafting and reviewing documents

    Requirements

    5+ YOE in Litigation support

     

    Experience e-filing in State and Federal courts

     

    Strong understanding of local WA court rules

     

    Experience with Transactional documents preferred but not required
