    Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to attorneys specializing in commercial property transactions by managing legal documentation, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires knowledge of real estate law and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Document Preparation and Review: Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to commercial real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, property deeds, closing documents, and financing agreements. Title and Survey Review: Analyze and summarize title commitments, title policies, zoning reports, and surveys, and assist with resolving title and lien issues. Due Diligence Management: Coordinate and manage due diligence activities, including reviewing corporate documents, property contracts, covenants, zoning regulations, and environmental reports to ensure client protection and project viability. Transaction Coordination: Assist with organizing and managing all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including closings. Work closely with attorneys, clients, title companies, and lenders to ensure timely completion. Entity Formation and Governance: Draft and file formation documents for corporations, LLCs, and other entities related to real estate holdings, and maintain entity compliance with state regulations. Research and Compliance: Conduct legal research related to commercial property laws, permits, and tax implications while ensuring compliance with local and state regulations. File and Records Management: Maintain organized transaction files, ensuring accessibility and compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Communication: Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and external parties, ensuring clear and detail oriented communication throughout the transaction process. Requirements Qualifications: Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate required; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions preferred. Strong understanding of commercial real estate procedures, contracts, and legal terminology. Proficiency in title and survey review, as well as real estate closing processes. Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills. Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on attention to detail. Proficiency in legal research software and tools such as LexisNexis or Westlaw. Familiarity with eDiscovery and e-filing processes is a plus. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
