Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a contract position where you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of invoices, vendor payments, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process over 500 invoices weekly with accuracy and efficiency.

• Verify invoices and charges to ensure compliance and correctness.

• Perform 3-way matching between shipments, invoices, and charges.

• Monitor and work to reduce aged accounts payable balances.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Assist in the month-end closing procedures for the accounts payable department.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to address inquiries.

• Support weekly vendor payments and ensure adherence to company policies.

• Assist with 1099 reporting and accounts payable analysis as needed. Requirements • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (preferred).

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to multitask and perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
