Description

We are looking for a dedicated Collections Specialist to join our team in Tustin, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and resolving billing concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Make daily outbound calls to clients for payment collection purposes.

• Negotiate and establish payment arrangements that align with company policies.

• Accurately post payments to customer accounts in a timely manner.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain account accuracy.

• Maintain detailed records of all communication and payment activity.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve account issues.

• Ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines during collections processes.

• Monitor overdue accounts and proactively follow up to minimize outstanding balances.

• Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive financial matters.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.

• Proven expertise in B2B and commercial collections.

• Strong understanding of credit and collections processes.

• Familiarity with resolving discrepancies and negotiating payment terms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts effectively.

• Proficiency in using collections software and tools.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial transactions.
