Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is fully remote and based in Beaverton, Oregon, for a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes and experience working with Sage Intacct and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry for revenue associated with time-restricted programs, ensuring compliance with accounting dimensions such as restrictions, departments, and locations.

• Review and categorize financial data from multiple lead sources, including platforms like Fidelity, Stripe, and PayPal.

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger while supporting month-end close activities.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions and account balances.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure proper revenue alignment and categorization in accordance with organizational standards.

• Utilize Sage Intacct to manage accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies within financial data to ensure integrity and compliance.

• Support ongoing financial processes and reporting requirements as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably within a non-profit environment.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and familiarity with fund accounting dimensions.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

• Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries.

• Ability to work with data from multiple financial platforms, such as Stripe, PayPal, and Fidelity.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
