Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Hopkins, Minnesota. This Contract to Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment by ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes, vendor management, and financial systems.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee compliance within the Vendor Invoice Management system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and managing system tables and analytics.
• Conduct detailed analysis and provide actionable recommendations for improving accounts payable processes and reporting to meet evolving business needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams, external partners, and vendors, offering guidance and resolving inquiries effectively.
• Mentor and train accounts payable team members across various locations, fostering growth and ensuring consistency in processes.
• Manage vendor relationships, addressing compliance issues and facilitating the smooth handling of inbound invoices.
• Administer the Concur expense system, including maintaining travel profiles, reconciling invoices, generating financial reports, and posting daily files.
• Perform general accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and daily financial analysis using relevant systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication of procedures and alignment on operational goals. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in SAP and Concur Expense systems, with hands-on experience in invoice coding, processing, and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including 3-way matching and check runs.
• Familiarity with purchase orders and month-end close procedures.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations and journal entries with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and external partners.
• Experience in mentoring and training team members is a plus.
