A busy company in the Rockaway area is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This Customer Service Representative will get the chance to join a dynamic team that collaborates excellent with each other offering a diverse day-to-day responsibility. The ideal Customer Service Representative is someone who thrives in a collaborative, small-medium sized office environment and is passionate about providing excellent administrative and customer support. The Customer Service Representative position involves handling various operational tasks, including order processing and invoicing, while contributing to a friendly and productive workplace. Other responsibilities of this Customer Service Representative role will include but not be limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Process and enter wholesale customer orders accurately into the system.

• Generate invoices and credit memos as needed, ensuring proper documentation.

• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and handling ad hoc projects.

• Utilize basic Excel functions to create and maintain spreadsheets.

• Provide support for eCommerce operations, including order management and customer inquiries.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and customer satisfaction.

• Assist customers with purchase orders, contract-related questions, and general inquiries.

• Maintain a detail-focused and positive attitude in a casual office setting.

• Uphold organizational standards for accuracy and efficiency in all administrative tasks.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles.

• Proficiency in order entry and processing systems.

• Familiarity with Excel, including basic formulas (no advanced functions like pivot tables or VLOOKUPS).

• Experience in eCommerce operations is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• An experienced mindset and commitment to stability in the workplace.

• Comfortable working in a casual and easy-going office environment.
