Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fundraising Officer to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is essential to driving our fundraising efforts, supporting revenue growth, and strengthening donor relationships. As a key contributor to the organization’s mission, you will manage donor communications, oversee event planning, and help build strategies to enhance funding opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Establish and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, vendors, and community partners to support fundraising goals.
• Develop personalized stewardship plans to engage and retain donors, including cultivating major gift contributors.
• Research prospective donors and identify opportunities aligned with organizational objectives.
• Manage communication efforts such as donor solicitations, acknowledgments, and stewardship materials.
• Lead planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with leadership to create innovative strategies for donor engagement and annual fund growth.
• Monitor and evaluate fundraising program performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Utilize donor management systems to track contributions and implement moves management strategies.
• Work with the marketing team to design promotional materials and enhance visibility for fundraising initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities and refine fundraising strategies. Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to create compelling presentations and donor materials.
• Proficiency in donor management systems and database maintenance.
• Proven ability to coordinate events, including logistics and vendor management.
• Experience developing and executing communication plans to engage diverse audiences.
• Skilled in research and identifying donor opportunities.
• Adept at managing timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with philanthropy and fundraising best practices
