Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves managing key aspects of the accounts receivable process, including cash applications, collections, and billing. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Process and apply incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and efficiently.

• Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage commercial collections to ensure timely payments.

• Handle billing operations, including generating and distributing invoices to clients.

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer payment issues.

• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and updates within the accounts receivable system.

• Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status to management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial processes. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in cash applications, collections, and billing functions.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
