As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to provide reassurance to staff and visitors, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will also be expected to deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and utilize technology such as computers or tablets as part of your daily duties. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site policies.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and/or criminal activity within the location.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Experience providing customer service is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only, in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
