POSITION SUMMARY:
With minimum supervision, responsible for any combination of calculating, posting and verifying of accounting data of a complex nature exercising independent judgment in one or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Payroll/Labor and General Ledger.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:
+ Maintains supplier correspondence of 5 locations.
+ Supplier Statement Reconciliations
+ Answering Supplier e-mails
+ Queuing invoices for processing
+ Loading Service invoices into Invoice Visibility
+ Working on Accounts Payable setup entries at month end.
+ Maintaining Utility and Temp labor accruals.
+ Hourly Payroll – weekly
+ *Preparation of time card data for labor distribution and payroll requirements.
+ Investigate questionable data and take corrective action when necessary. Elevate as needed. Strong ability to problem solve.
+ Interface with functional departments, management, suppliers and customers.
+ Perform other related responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years Accounting/Payroll experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
Personal computer experience (i.e. Outlook, Excel) and data entry required.
Ability to accurately input and calculate numbers and operate a 10-key calculator by touch.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Accurate typing/input skills of 35 WPM may be required.
Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.
