    Summary

    The Specialist, Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by ensuring seamless administrative, operational, and customer-facing processes. While not responsible for selling or generating revenue directly, this position enhances sales efficiency and effectiveness through detailed coordination, CRM management, and proactive problem-solving.

    Responsibilities

    + **Administrative Support:** Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and coordinating client communications.

    + **CRM and Data Management:** Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), including updating account information, tracking sales activities, and generating reports as needed.

    + **Proposal and Document Preparation:** Assist in creating and formatting sales proposals, contracts, and other customer-facing documents.

    + **Customer Support Coordination:** Serve as a liaison between sales, clients, and internal teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.

    + **Reporting and Analytics:** Generate and distribute regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and operational dashboards to sales leadership.

    + **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to streamline sales operations and improve team efficiency; support the implementation of new tools and workflows.

     

    Education & Experience Requirements

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    Experience:

    + 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative role.

    + Experience supporting a B2B sales team preferred.

    + Familiarity with contract management or proposal generation tools preferred.

    + Understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    + Ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and improve overall work quality.

    + Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    + Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Physical Requirements

    This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements may include:

     

    + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and using office equipment.

    + Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

    + Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as needed.

    + Clear verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.

     

    Work Environment

    Fully Remote Position:

    + Employees must be available during standard business hours, with core hours beginning between 8:00AM – 9:00AM. and concluding between 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

    **Travel:** 0 – 10%

     

    This is a 1099 Contract position
