    Job Description

We are looking for a **Systems Integrations Engineer** to support Resort Security Systems. You will lead the design, implementation, and support of critical security and crew applications across a growing portfolio of first-of-their-kind resort properties. From CCTV and access control to person location and door lock systems, you’ll drive the full lifecycle of implementation—from early planning and vendor coordination through technical design, installation, testing, and knowledge transfer. This position will be a **contract** and **onsite** **in Miramar, FL** , with occasional global travel to resorts and cruise sites.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

    What You’ll Do

+ Lead implementation planning, design, deployment, and support of security-related 3rd-party systems (e.g., CCTV, door locks, time & attendance, access control)

+ Translate business and construction requirements into executable technical plans

+ Coordinate with vendors, oversee equipment delivery and installation logistics

+ Configure servers, applications, and systems to meet project and security requirements

+ Troubleshoot across the stack—servers, applications, networks, firewalls

+ Create documentation, train support teams, and contribute to a living technical knowledgebase

+ Travel globally to resort and ship sites to oversee real-world implementation

    What You'll Need

    Required:

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

+ 3+ years in systems engineering, product implementation, or technical analyst roles

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with DHCP and DNS

+ Strong experience with 3rd-party systems integration and vendor management

+ Comfortable working with both Windows and Linux environments

+ Knowledge of databases and SQL + ability to read network architecture diagrams

    + Excellent communicator—verbal, written, technical and non-technical

+ Able to work independently, troubleshoot in the field, and wear many hats

    + Hospitality experience required

    Preferred:

+ Experience with security systems (CCTV, door locks, PLS, etc.)

+ Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile/Waterfall methodologies

+ Global travel experience or excitement to see the world while you work

    Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $40.00-$44.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
