Sanitation Specialist

**Shift:** Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (occasional nights, weekends, and holidays required) **Pay Rate:** $ 20.00/hour

Are you committed to maintaining a spotless and safe environment? We're looking for a dedicated **Sanitation Specialist** to join our team! In this crucial role, you'll ensure our manufacturing facility and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness, directly contributing to the quality of products our customers love.

What You'll Do:

+ **Clean and sanitize** production lines, processing equipment, and packaging machinery, including conveyors.

+ Perform deep cleaning, which may involve opening valves and working with hot water, foaming, and cleaning agents.

+ Maintain the overall cleanliness of the facility, including restrooms and some outdoor landscaping.

+ Act as a "first responder" for all food safety and housekeeping needs.

+ **Sweep and mop** floors to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace.

Work Environment:

This is an active role in a **loud manufacturing environment** with heavy machinery. You'll be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. While we strive for comfort, facility temperatures can vary with the seasons and weather. The work schedule is typically **40-45 hours per week** and will include **nights, weekends, and holidays** as needed to clean machinery when not in use. Overtime may be required.

What We're Looking For:

+ Ability to work **weekends, holidays, and off-shifts** .

+ Willingness to work **overtime** .

+ **Physical stamina:** Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.

+ Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products.

+ Must be able to **lift up to 50 lbs** .

+ Commitment to **personal safety** and adherence to all procedures.

+ Ability to wear all required **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)** , including steel-toe boots (required to enter the facility), hairnet, safety glasses, and/or a bump cap for the duration of your workday.

Training & Support:

We value your safety and success! We'll provide comprehensive training on:

+ Basic process line cleaning requirements.

+ Specific equipment components needing sanitation.

+ "Lock out" procedures to ensure your safety and that of your team.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
