We are assisting a local client in their search for a talented individual to fill this exciting position in Romeoville, IL. Material Handler role offers competitive compensation ( **$** **20.50/hour** ) with the potential to convert to a permanent role at the end of the contract period.

     

    **Shift:** Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Some OT Required including Saturdays)

    **Pay:** $ 20.50/hr.

    Requirements for this Material Handler:

    + High School Diploma or Equivalent

    + 1+ years of prior warehouse and material handling experience required.

    + Experience operating all types of forklifts (Reach/Order Picker, Stand-Up)

    + All applicants must complete a forklift assessment.

    + Must be able to lift to 25 lbs.

    + Warehouse management system experience required, including RF Scanners.

    + Must be OK to work in a Freezer environment.

    Description for this Material Handler roles:

    + Has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.

    + Verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance.

    + Maintains complete paperwork.

    + Safely operates warehouse equipment.

    + Pick and stage parts for store replenishment.

    + Regularly uses lift equipment to move pallets around the warehouse.

    + Marks pallets with identifying store information.

    + Keeps work area neat, clean, and hazard-free.

    + Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner).

    **Pay Details:** $20.50 per hour
