    Synectic Solutions Inc (Oxnard, CA)


    SSI is seeking experienced Systems Administrator candidates for a contingent opportunity to be awarded in the Fall of 2025. This is an on-site only position to meet customer requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    + Contributes energy and enthusiasm to our daily tasks, to the team’s interactions.

    + Conduct routine system maintenance checks, perform hardware and software installations, and assist in troubleshooting software (including applications), hardware technical issues (including peripherals) utilizing ServiceNow ticketing system.

    + Responsible for documenting standard operating procedures and assisting higher-level administrators in larger projects.

    + Conduct regular security patching, assessments and scans on Linux operating systems using tools like Tenable Nessus, identifying potential vulnerabilities and mitigating those vulnerabilities.

    + Provide User Management and grant user permissions in accordance with role.

    + Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

    + Install, manage, administer, and support Jira, Confluence, plugins, and extensions.

    + Troubleshoot issues, communicate with process owners, and continue to improve support processes.

    + Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.

    + Configure and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

    Qualifications:

    + Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 5+ years of experience in IT support and SharePoint administration.

    + Knowledge of Navy Weapons Systems is highly desired.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications.

    + Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network infrastructure is a plus.

    + Current Top Secret Clearance is required.

     

    Synectic Solutions, Inc. is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
