What you will do
The Medical Division is seeking to hire a Manager, Operations (Onsite). You will play a critical leadership role in driving the performance, engagement, and development of one or more operational teams. You will collaborate closely with team leaders to ensure excellence in quality, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and capacity planning. You will focus on continuous improvement and team empowerment, the Manager fosters a culture of high performance, employee engagement, and accountability. You will provide hands-on training and mentorship to Senior Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and Associate Team Leaders while supporting new product implementation and contributing to key initiatives within Centers of Excellence. As the leader, you will set and hold high standards by building meaningful customer relationships and ensures best-in-class products and service are delivered with consistency and integrity.
+ Drive operational excellence by leading a team-oriented, product-focused environment that prioritizes capacity planning, continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, safety, and cost efficiency to ensure timely, high-quality shipments.
+ Collect, analyze, and report business unit performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuously improve operational outcomes.
+ Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, quality, legal, corporate, and HR policies and procedures, maintaining a culture of accountability and integrity.
+ Foster a highly engaged workforce by creating an inclusive environment that supports personal and professional growth, open communication, and recognition of achievements.
+ Lead proactive problem-solving initiatives by identifying root causes, implementing sustainable solutions, and minimizing disruptions to operations.
+ Champion a customer-first mindset by modeling consultative, responsive service that builds trust and loyalty through integrity and excellence.
+ Maintain accurate, timely record-keeping in compliance with Stryker’s quality and operational standards, ensuring readiness for audits and reviews.
+ Champion product innovation by actively listening, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and contributing forward-thinking ideas that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer value.
What you need
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field
+ 8 years of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering or related field
+ Experience leading teams, either directly or through cross-functional or matrixed leadership.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
+ Experience applying manufacturing best practices to drive operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
+ Medical Device experience
+ Hands-on experience implementing and driving Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance operational performance
+ Closed-toe shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended.
