We are seeking an experienced RVT to join our Internal Medicine Team at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists.

Schedule : F** **our 10 hour shifts

Compensation : $ 24 - $ 30 /hr

We believe in high quality veterinary medicine and patient care and making that happen through dedication and learning. The position is for four, 10 hour shifts, 8:30am-7pm or 10am-8:30pm. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include:

+ Maintaining medical records.

+ Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments.

+ Preparing medications and prescriptions.

+ Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.

+ Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.

+ Assisting in procedures.

+ Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.

+ Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $24 to $30 per hour.
