We Are Seeking
Team Gilbert is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead our Information Technology department, consisting of 60+ employees across multiple divisions: Infrastructure, Applications, Information Security, Geographic Information Systems, Data Governance, Customer Experience/Desktop Support, and Project Management. Reporting to an Assistant Town Manager, the CIO serves as a critical leader within the organization, establishing a vision and updated roadmap for information technology, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve key organizational initiatives, and overseeing all aspects of IT service delivery.
Our ideal candidate is an inspiring and genuine leader who can connect the vision for the future of technology to the practical application of our everyday needs. They will be a strong communicator who can motivate others through a common vision, build partnerships, negotiate win/win outcomes, and execute a vision for the future. They will balance technological advancements with the need for investments in critical daily operations, making difficult prioritization decisions. In addition, they will utilize our strategic partners to augment service delivery, identify scalable solutions, and leverage industry expertise. They will do all of this while creating an engaging, supportive environment for our current and future team members to grow, develop, and flourish.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Information Technology
7+ years of strategic leadership experience with high-performing teams & measurable results.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
