Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our urgent care clinic team. This role involves performing essential medical assistant duties and supporting the clinic in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

+ Collect and record patient demographics based on symptoms.

+ Utilize electronic health records to manage medical information.

+ Measure and record patient vitals accurately.

+ Provide exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting.

+ Assist with front desk operations and patient inquiries.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

+ Strong understanding of medical terminology.

+ Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.

+ Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an urgent care clinic.

+ BLS certification is desirable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ MA diploma or certification preferred.

+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced clinic is preferred.

+ RMA certification is an advantage.

Work Environment

The position is onsite at a primary care clinic, managing 20 to 30 patients daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
