    Job Title: Test Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated and skilled Test Technicians to join our team on the 1st shift in Lancaster, PA. The Test Technician supports engineering and production teams by assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing high-voltage power supplies and microwave systems. This role bridges the gap between engineering design and manufacturing, contributing to product development, testing, and continuous improvement. It’s ideal for a hands-on technician with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for electronics.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble, test, and troubleshoot high-voltage power supplies and microwave systems (TWTAs, MPMs).

    + Support engineering in research, design, development, and production activities.

    + Develop and refine testing and assembly procedures.

    + Operate and maintain test equipment (oscilloscopes, RF sweepers, network analyzers, etc.).

    + Analyze and document test results and recommend design or process improvements.

    + Provide technical guidance to production staff as needed.

    + Perform RF performance testing and component-level troubleshooting.

    + Use hand tools and follow safety protocols in a lab environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

    + Skilled in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and network analyzers.

    + Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.

    + Familiarity with high-voltage systems and RF technologies.

    + Effective communication and documentation skills.

    + Competence with hand tools and soldering techniques.

    + Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

    + Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

    + Strong digital and analog troubleshooting skills.

    + Familiarity with J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 certifications is a plus.

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and travel locally as needed.

    Work Environment

    This full-time opportunity is located in our Lancaster facility. The work involves electronics testing and requires adherence to work safety practices. It is an engaging environment with long-term contracts with major defense integrators and direct DOD involvement.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
