    Job Description

    We are seeking a Project Engineer to support Project Managers in the successful execution of diverse construction projects. This role is primarily office-based, focusing on financial and administrative project management aspects. The projects include water treatment facilities, industrial developments with pre-engineered metal buildings, K-12 schools, parks, recreation facilities, National Guard projects, and company headquarters renovations across the U.S. Some travel will be required.

    Responsibilities

    + Support Project Managers with financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple projects.

    + Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

    + Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements.

    + Coordinate procurement activities, including vendor communication and purchase order tracking.

    + Generate and maintain project documentation, including cost reports and progress updates.

    + Utilize project management and ERP software (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, or similar) for documentation and reporting.

    + Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

    + Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

    + At least 1 year of commercial construction experience, preferably in water/wastewater or K-12 projects.

    + At least 1 year of experience with a general contractor.

    + At least 1 year of experience with construction software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with water/wastewater projects.

    + Experience with pre-engineered metal buildings.

    + Experience in K-12 construction.

    + Proficiency in Procore, water treatment, and institutional construction.

    Work Environment

    This position requires working 5 days per week in the office, averaging 40-45 hours per week. Over 60 miles of travel will be reimbursed at $0.67 per mile. The role offers opportunities for growth, including the potential to manage your own projects as an Assistant Project Manager.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $82500.00/hr.
