Job Title: Electrical Equipment TesterJob Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Tester with a strong background in the electrical field, particularly in panel building and testing of electrical equipment. This position involves testing 600-volt battery backup enclosures to ensure their functionality and durability, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct testing on 600-volt batteries to assess functionality and durability.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing.

+ Build and set up electrical panels and boxes.

+ Perform electrical testing, which can be taught as part of the role.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.

+ Potentially transition to a Level 2 role involving PLC editing and modification, depending on experience.

+ Collaborate with Senior Controls Technicians and Engineers.

+ Utilize any panel design experience as an added advantage.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in panel building and testing of electrical equipment.

+ Proficiency in schematic design and interpretation.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

+ Experience with PLC programming and modification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in the electrical field is preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

+ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.

+ Effective communication skills for documenting and reporting findings.

+ Any experience in panel design is considered a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based in a new facility, offering a clean and welcoming environment with a gym and a great culture. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
