    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that parts move through the repair station efficiently and in a timely manner. This role involves anticipating lead times and coordinating the flow of parts through various stages including machining, assembly, welding, paint, NDT, X-ray, and other secondary processes according to the engine manual for overhaul and repair processes.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor, anticipate, and manage the movement of parts through the facility to ensure timely progression through machining, assembly, welding, paint, NDT, and X-ray processes.

    + Maintain accurate WIP/HOLD for concessions inventory records and ensure parts are correctly logged and tracked.

    + Utilize Excel and Teams to manage inventory data, track part movement, and communicate with team members.

    + Collaborate with different departments to resolve any issues that may delay the movement of parts.

    + Anticipate the adequacy of detail levels and initiate the process to obtain material, schedule the work to produce sleeves, liners, threaded plugs internally.

    + Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

    + Assist in the development and implementation of part management/tracking inventory management procedures.

    + Provide support to engineering and production control teams as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams.

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.

    + Knowledge of manufacturing processes and stages in an aerospace environment (machining, assembly, welding, paint, NDT, X-ray) is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This position offers a clean manufacturing floor and updated office spaces with ample windows that look onto the manufacturing floor. The company provides a business casual dress code. Employees benefit from 100% medical coverage, a 401K plan with a 2.5% match, and 2-3 weeks of PTO to start. Spot bonuses are paid out 2-3 times per year based on company and individual performance, ranging from 8-10% of yearly salary for engineering roles. Flexible start and stop times are available. The company specializes in complex machining, NADCAP accredited welding and chemical processing/painting, CMSP, and assembly.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
