Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Technician to join our team in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for renewable energy solutions. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure the success of our installations.

Responsibilities

+ Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components for renewable energy solutions.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.

+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.

+ Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure timely and accurate installations.

+ Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site.

+ Document work performed and maintain accurate records.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation or related field.

+ Valid Florida Electrical License or ability to obtain one.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

+ Willingness to travel locally to installation sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with solar, battery storage, or other renewable energy systems is a plus.

+ Skills in electrical schematics, troubleshooting, wiring, actuators, heater wiring, electrical panel, PLC, energy, and battery storage.

Work Environment

This position involves working onsite or in the field as part of a team dedicated to manufacturing a one-of-a-kind solar energy system. You will be part of a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
