    Fire Systems Technology, Inc., recently joined the Impact Fire Services team and is a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services. Fire Systems Technology has been in business for over 22 years and provides fire protection services covering Arkansas, Southern Missouri, Southern Kansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. The company offers exceptional fire sprinkler installation, repairs, renovations, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for over 20 years.

     

    This position is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    To maintain and service fire protection equipment as supplied by Technicians. To ensure that any piece of fire protection products maintained by our company is in the best possible working condition. To achieve tasks assigned by the Field Supervisor in a timely manner. To perform any other tasks assigned by the Manager while maintaining the Company’s safety goals and objectives.

    NATURE OF POSITION:

    This position reports to the Impact Field Supervisor. The Technician will be responsible for servicing and providing regularly scheduled maintenance on fire protection products in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly productivity goals. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized workstation and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself and co-workers.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Achieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Field Supervisor.

    + Protect and maintain company equipment and take inventory.

    + Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies

    + Perform any other tasks assigned by the Field Supervisor.

    + Support field operations in addition to supporting the purchasing department.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + A valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record

    + The ability to perform physical activities outlined in accompanying physical requirements checklist.

    + Satisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug test

    + A strong work ethic and professional appearance

    + The ability to fit in with our culture of teamwork

    Preferred Experience

    + Fire protection or plumbing experience is a plus.

    + Project coordination and scheduling experience.

     

    Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
