Automation Technician

**Day shift:** 7am-4pm

**Pay:** $36-44/hour /DOE

Job Description

We are seeking proficient automation technicians for a 2-3 month project. The ideal candidates will possess strong experience with PLC programming and Studio 5000, along with troubleshooting skills for Fanuc robotic cells. Mechanical and electrical knowledge is essential, as well as familiarity with systems such as Keyence, Balluff, Bosch conveyors, fasteners, Nordson dispensers, Miller TIG welding, and Precitec laser welding. Exposure to processes such as pick and place, fastening, dispensing, TIG and laser welding, and end-of-line testing is required.

Responsibilities

+ Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems, commonly Allen Bradley and Siemens.

+ Maintain and repair robotic systems, including Fanuc and ABB.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on automation equipment.

+ Support commissioning of new automation cells.

+ Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills in Fanuc robotic systems.

+ Mechanical and electrical diagnostic capabilities.

+ Familiarity with vision systems, laser welding, and automated testing.

+ Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced production environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00/hr.
