Description

+ Measure aerospace components to ensure conformity to specification

+ Using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, CMM to measure component

+ Quality Manager creates a weekly quality schedule, and Inspectors get assigned to work on certain items for in process, plating receiving and final product testing

+ Once assigned a task, Inspector will pull work package that includes instructions, blueprints and tooling to be utilized for the inspection

+ Manually log quality updates on the paperwork that is following the part through the entire process and update quality system accordingly

+ If part is rejected, they fill out nonconformance tag in Unipoint (non conformance system) and they send part to central inspection area for further testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Quality Inspector experience required

+ CMM experience required

+ Aerospace preferred, other regulated industries could be considered

+ Experience using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, CMM

+ Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) preferred

+ Ability read and interpret blueprints

+ Gauge calibration experience preferred

+ ISO and/or AS9100 experience preferred

+ Ability to train on first shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
