Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating the production of medical devices. You will direct assembly and testing operations across multiple product lines to ensure production deadlines are met. Compliance with QSR, EN, and MDR guidelines is paramount, as is troubleshooting production issues and improving efficiencies.
Responsibilities
+ Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities with the Material Handling team.
+ Direct the assembly and testing of product lines to meet deadlines.
+ Ensure manufacturing compliance with QSR, EN, and MDR guidelines.
+ Troubleshoot production problems, identify bottlenecks, assign tasks, set priorities, and track progress.
+ Minimize scrap and rework, streamline material flow, and improve workstation efficiencies.
+ Participate in planning additional work based on manufacturing capacity.
+ Verify and approve timecards, maintain attendance logs.
+ Facilitate Change Requests and manage employee training and development.
+ Generate necessary reports and ensure compliance with cleanliness procedures.
+ Establish and ensure the effectiveness of training programs.
+ Ensure technician/assembler understanding and use of all SOPs.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years' experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing facility.
+ Experience in medical device or small parts manufacturing preferred.
+ Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment.
+ Strong leadership, communication, training, and problem-solving skills.
+ Demonstrated organizational and technical abilities.
+ Effective delegation skills and the ability to coach and discipline employees.
+ Basic math skills and proficiency in English.
+ Basic skills in Word and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with lean manufacturing and lean six sigma.
+ Knowledge of continuous improvement and medical device assembly.
+ Experience in a machine shop environment.
+ Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and projects.
+ Ability to adapt to frequent changes in priority or schedule.
+ Experience in conducting and attending interdepartmental meetings.
+ Commitment to following company safety procedures while ensuring quality work.
+ Experience in improving procedures, processes, and efficiencies through departmental collaboration.
+ Ability to educate and train others in 5S/LEAN practices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
