Job Title: Solar Laborer

Job Description

This position involves the maintenance of hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps used in the installation of solar tracking systems. The role requires a mechanically inclined individual with a proactive attitude and the ability to follow directions precisely.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair hydraulic riveting tools and diesel pumps.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.

+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

+ Ensure tools are in optimal working condition for the installation process.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ "Can do" attitude.

+ Ability to follow directions.

+ Dependable with reliable transportation.

+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Completion of a 7-year background check.

Work Environment

Work directly on-site out of a mobile shop equipped with necessary tools and equipment. Led by a lead mechanic, the role requires adherence to a dress code of jeans, tee shirt, steel toe boots, and PPE including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and reflective vest. The position involves working on a solar farm Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with some weekend work required as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of White Hall, Arkansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
