    Job Title: Packaging Line Worker

    Job Description

    The Packaging Line Worker is responsible for general duties such as operating slitter, assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging. In certain areas, minor set-up and equipment operation may be necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate slitter and other machinery as needed.

    + Perform assembly tasks with precision and efficiency.

    + Label products accurately.

    + Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet standards.

    + Package products securely for distribution.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation and packaging.

    + Ability to perform assembly tasks.

    + Proficiency in material handling.

    + At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent.

    + Manual dexterity and good coordination.

    + Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in a production environment.

    + Understanding of mechanical operations.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean and involves working in teams of 2-4 individuals. The dress code requires jeans or work pants, and prohibits leggings or sweatpants. Contractors must wear safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves, and supply their own steel toe boots. The role is primarily a 1st shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime based on volume.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
