Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

We have an immediate opening in our service department for a Field Service Helper/Assistant. This role involves assisting a Field Service Technician with preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial compressors. It is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual who is eager to develop a career in the skilled trades as a Compressor Field Service Technician.

Responsibilities

+ Assist a Field Service Technician with preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of industrial compressors.

+ Run parts and tools, lift pumps, and perform basic mechanical work.

+ Pick up parts, deliver to customers, and conduct preventive maintenance in-shop on compressors.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanically inclined with a clean DMV record.

+ Possess a client-facing demeanor.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Good customer service skills.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently.

+ Valid driver’s license and clean record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent required.

+ Ability to work on their own cars.

+ Ability to read blueprints/schematics.

+ Preferred industrial equipment maintenance experience.

+ Electrical troubleshooting experience.

+ Experience with vacuums or industrial pumps.

+ HVAC experience.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
