Job Title: Forklift Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our location in South Portland. In this role, you will operate a large forklift to move and organize shipping containers both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, you will perform light cleaning and power washing of containers, utilizing basic computer skills to manage the inventory system.
Responsibilities
+ Operate a large forklift to move and organize shipping containers.
+ Perform light cleaning and power washing of containers.
+ Utilize basic computer skills to use the inventory system.
+ Maintain the safety and organization of the workspace.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 1-2 years of forklift experience.
+ Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.
+ Basic computer skills for inventory management.
+ Effective communication skills in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ General labor experience is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a large warehouse with both indoor and outdoor conditions. You will be operating a cabin forklift alongside only 3-4 other employees.

This is a Contract position based out of South Portland, Maine.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
