    Production Associate $19-22 an hour

    Job Description

    Production associates will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes of all sizes, trimming plastic excess, cutting to specification, and coiling into rolls. Candidates should be comfortable lifting 30-40 pounds routinely and team lifting heavier parts up to 100 pounds.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload and handle drainage pipes of various sizes.

    + Trim excess plastic from pipes.

    + Cut pipes to specified dimensions.

    + Coil pipes into rolls for packaging and distribution.

    + Lift and maneuver parts weighing up to 40 pounds individually and team lift up to 100 pounds.

    + Operate hand and power tools, including sawzall, with provided training if needed.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor or production line experience.

    + Machine operation experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Familiarity with packaging and plastics manufacturing.

    Work Environment / Shift

     

    The facility is non-climate controlled, which means it can be cold in the summer and hot in the winter. The workspace is fairly organized with a newly installed line, although it can become cramped if significant scrap plastic is produced. The work schedule includes three shifts: 1st shift (7 am-3:30 pm, Monday to Friday), 2nd shift (3 pm-11:30 pm, Monday to Friday), and 3rd shift (11 pm-7:30 am, Sunday to Thursday). Overtime may be required before/after shifts and on alternating Saturdays as needed.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
