    Forklift Operator – South Portland, ME - Start ASAP!!!

     

    Job Type: 2-Month Contract | Pay: $24/hr

    Looking for a role that combines skill, independence, and a scenic work setting? We’re hiring a Forklift Operator to join a small, tight-knit team in South Portland. If you’re experienced, reliable, and ready to work by the waterfront, this opportunity is built for you.

    What You’ll Do

    + Operate a large cabin forklift to move and organize shipping containers

    + Work both indoors and outdoors in a dynamic warehouse setting

    + Perform light cleaning and power washing of containers

    + Use basic computer skills to manage inventory and track container movement

    + Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace

    What You Bring

    + 1–2 years of forklift experience (sit-down and reach truck proficiency preferred)

    + Basic computer skills for inventory tracking

    + Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English

    + General labor experience is a plus

    + Operate a cabin forklift with a small team of 3–4 employees

    + PPE provided as needed

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
