Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures as directed by the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures.
+ Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
+ Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform minor electrical repairs.
+ Inspect and maintain cranes and other machinery.
+ Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
+ Interpret blueprints for maintenance projects.
+ Manage multiple jobs and projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints.
+ Proficiency in operating hand tools and power tools.
+ Experience in electrical troubleshooting and wiring.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with minor facilities maintenance such as HVAC, plumbing, and painting repairs.
+ Experience with overhead crane maintenance.
+ Experience in maintenance on welding machines is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
