    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated 2nd shift Mechanical Assembler to join our team, responsible for assembling truck caps. This role involves fitting, feeling, and assembling fiberglass components, windows, seal systems, and more. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and will be proficient in using hand, power, and pneumatic tools with a keen eye for detail.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble truck caps using fiberglass components, windows, and seal systems.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Utilize hand, power, and pneumatic tools effectively.

    + Maintain attention to detail throughout the assembly process.

    + Work collaboratively with the team to ensure quality and efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical skills, particularly in machine/engine building, car/transmission work, or farm equipment work.

    + Proficiency in using torque wrenches, air tools, and power tools.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and SOPs.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Physical ability to lift 30 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with PM Tech or similar mechanical skills.

    + Steel or composite-toed shoes are required.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a fiberglass plant that is not climate-controlled and has a paint-like smell. However, units are painted before assembly, minimizing fiberglass exposure. The facility is equipped with numerous fans to enhance air circulation. Steel or composite-toed shoes are mandatory for safety.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
