    Job Title: Shift Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment. The role requires expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed production machinery, ensuring efficient operation and minimal downtime.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment.

    + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine service.

    + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.

    + Utilize mechanic skills including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on packaging and production machines.

    + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

    + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make necessary adjustments.

    + Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

    + Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions.

    + Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform duties.

    + Detect faulty operations, defective materials, and report unusual situations to proper supervision.

    + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

    + Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and performing electrical and mechanical repairs.

    + 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

    + 3+ years of experience in preventive maintenance.

    + 3+ years of experience in reading blueprints, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed production environment.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a GMP food manufacturing company, featuring refrigerated areas with temperatures between 30-40 degrees. Our team has extensive experience in custom product research, development, high volume production, and international shipping, making us a trusted custom meat supplier.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
