Job Description
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Installer II professionals for an automation upgrade project. The role involves installing robotic arms on loading docks, setting up sub-stations, and internal site fencing at a facility. This position requires hands-on work with power tools, pallet jacks, and commissioning equipment according to detailed diagrams.
Responsibilities
+ Install robotic arms, sub-stations, and internal site fencing.
+ Use power tools, pallet jacks, and air-powered tools for installation tasks.
+ Commission towers and run wiring for power supply according to diagrams.
+ Assist project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.
+ Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks.
+ Follow step-by-step instructions for installation processes.
Essential Skills
+ Previous installation experience with machinery and robotics.
+ Ability to consistently lift 40-50 lbs.
+ Proficiency in working on a hard cement floor for 8 hours a day.
+ Good attendance and punctuality.
+ Ability to take direction and follow instructions accurately.
+ Understanding of blueprints and diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working on related projects.
+ Ability to work independently once trained.
+ Perfect attendance is crucial; no tolerance for tardiness or absences.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude.
+ Reliability and good communication skills with the team.
+ Understanding of basic safety practices.

Work Environment
The position is based in a large facility in Richmond, TX, which is currently under construction. The environment can be messy, loud, and crowded at times. Most work occurs on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, with mixed AC and open-air conditions that can be hot during summer. The role requires significant physical activity, including walking on cement floors. You will interact with project managers, installers, and material handlers. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed shoes, and high-visibility vests, along with required safety gear such as safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, and steel-toed shoes. The work schedule is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break, likely totaling 40 hours per week.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
