Job Title: Wire Harness Technician

Job Description

As a Wire Harness Technician, you will build custom harnesses by cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires based on wire diagrams. You will be responsible for wire harness assembly, wiring schematics, manufacturing verification, and interpreting drawings to build docker images or schematics. Additionally, you will handle military circular connectors and ensure test boxes are safe to mate before moving them to the next department.

Responsibilities

+ Build custom harnesses including cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and terminating wires based on wire diagrams.

+ Conduct wire harness assembly and interpret wiring schematics.

+ Perform manufacturing verification and ensure test boxes are safe to mate before moving to the next department.

+ Use various fasteners and fastening tools.

+ Assemble PCBAs and harnesses.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in wire harness assembly and wiring schematics.

+ Experience with soldering, crimping, and terminating.

+ Ability to interpret and work with wire diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as a wire harness technician or master technician.

+ Experience as an Avionics Technician or in vehicle manufacturing.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.

+ Experience in test fixture build and harness build.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $37.00/hr.
