F&B Manager Pahrump Nugget, Gold Town & Lakeside (Pahrump, NV)

Description:

Summary:

Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the Food and Beverage department. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

+ Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, and schedule department staff

+ Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership

+ Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement

+ Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position

+ Ensure all team members comply with all rules, regulations and procedures

+ Oversee all the Pahrump properties making sure all team members at each property comply with all rules, regulations and procedures

+ Maintain food quality and presentation making sure to maintain cleanliness and safe working conditions in all areas

+ Control food and labor costs by overseeing the requisition of supplies and instructing kitchen personnel to ensure each area has supplies needed to be efficent

+ Verify that all orders are received and accurate and that all paperwork is correct and delivered to proper personnel in a timely manner.

+ Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications

+ Three years in a high-volume Food & Beverage industry

+ Previous experience working in a team or group environment and able to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner

+ Proven experience providing high level of guest service

+ Working knowledge of general computer programs, including the MSWord and Excel

+ Must be at least 21 years of age

+ 2 years of college preferred

+ Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal

+ Able to accurately perform intermediate math

+ Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

+ Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

+ Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 75 pounds

+ Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

+ Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail

+ Vision, hearing, speaking (critical)

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

+ Constant walking, standing, frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel

Work Environment Potential Conditions

+ Indoor

+ Extreme hot and cold temperatures, including humidity

+ Slippery surfaces, chemical agents, and exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases
