THE POSITION
Are you a hard working team player that has the ability to multi-task? The Washington County Housing Authority is looking for a dependable Property Manager to join our team of professionals. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your experience to help provide , safe, decent, and affordable housing for low-income families, senior citizens, and disabled residents. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Property Manager, you will manage and efficiently operate assigned county housing properties. Work includes collecting and reporting rents, security deposits, and other housing authority money from residents. You will be responsible for accurately maintaining all resident accounts. Your attention to detail skills will be key as you maintain a constant review over delinquent accounts, reporting any accordance with established procedures. You will have the opportunity to encourage residents in the proper care and maintenance of housing authority property as specified in the lease. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Additional duties:
+ Conduct informational tenant hearings to resolve complaints
+ Inspect housing authority property to identify needs and address concerns
+ Initiate eviction proceedings after verbal and written warnings have failed to resolve the problem
+ Prepare interim and annual resident income reports
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two (2) years as a Management Aide;or
+ One (1) year as an Assistant Property Manager or Assistant Section 8 Coordinator;or
+ Three (3)years experience in supervising or performing tasks associated with the management of multi-family residential subsidized or affordable housing communities, property owned, or programs administered by a public housing authority or comparable (low-income) property management agency.
