The Controls Room Team is looking for a technically skilled and driven analytics professional to join our high-performing organization. This is a high-impact opportunity to support Control Management with data automation, predictive analytics, and Al-enabled tools. We are seeking someone who thrives in complexity, builds scalable Python-based solutions, and contributes to the team's transformation toward proactive risk insight. You will join an agile and collaborative team working across multiple disciplines and high-visibility projects. As a Quant Analytics, Senior Associate within the Control Management Controls Room team, you will help design and implement scalable data tools and LLM solutions that power regulatory risk assessments. You'll work closely with control managers, SMEs, and technologists to automate workflows, structure complex data, and support predictive modeling efforts. This is a dynamic, technical role with high visibility, and a strong focus on forward-looking analytics and responsible Al adoption. You'll have the opportunity to drive innovation, strengthen enterprise reporting, and mentor others on automation and backend development practices.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Build and maintain relationships with Control Management teams to understand evolving data, reporting, and risk assessment needs.
+ Identify stakeholders across business and technology; set data quality / delivery targets and drive accountability.
+ Develop, schedule, and monitor SQL extracts, data transformations, and lightweight Python utilities for recurring reporting, reconciliations, and data quality checks.
+ Create and maintain runbooks (process steps, data lineage, control checks, escalation paths) to support audit readiness and seamless hand-offs.
+ Document process improvement opportunities and prototype automation scripts / workflow jobs (incl. basic LLM/NLP summarization / structuring) to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
+ Review data for anomalies and trends; coordinate validation and sign-off cycles to ensure completeness, accuracy, and transparency in regulatory / control reporting.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.
+ 5+ years experience in data solutions, analytics, reporting, or a similar data-intensive environment.
+ Proven ability to build relationships and gather data requirements; strong stakeholder communication skills.
+ Functional SQL skills; foundational Python (run / modify / document scripts).
+ Understanding of enterprise / cloud data management and use of APIs for data exchange.
+ Ability to work autonomously across multiple workstreams; escalate issues appropriately.
+ Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
+ Experience supporting regulatory, control testing, or compliance-oriented reporting/analytics.
+ Exposure to Python application frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) and/or enterprise job orchestration tools.
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for stakeholder dashboards.
+ Experience contributing to or consuming LLM/AI-enabled tooling (prompt templates, summarization, structured extraction).
+ Understanding of data governance concepts: metadata management, lineage, quality controls, and documentation standards.
+ Working knowledge of Git / version control and Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Github).
+ Ability to translate emerging analytics capabilities into practical, well-documented solutions for cross-functional stakeholders.
