**About the** **Role:** Credit Services Sales Manager, Corporates, Americas
**The Team:** This is an exciting opportunity to join the CS Sales Leadership Team, a focused and dynamic team focused on growing the CS business including Credit RatingsDirect, RatingsXpress, the Credit Analytics suite of products, Scorecards and Analytical Services.
The CS Sales Team are supported by a team of Pre Sales Engineers to provide deep subject matter expertise to support renewal and new business conversations.
**Responsibilities and Impact:** The CS business is a significant contributor to the overall growth of the Risk & Valuations Services (RVS) Business. CS has senior executive commitment to invest where needed to fuel this growth.
We are at the forefront of solving new challenges for clients as the market and regulatory landscape continues to change. For example;
+ Understanding Counterparty Credit Risk,
+ Many rely on RatingsDirect’s rich and timely research to understand the potential impact on credit markets of current global themes such as inflation, tariffs, volatility in interest and default rates, and regional conflicts
+ Helping clients establish robust frameworks for integrating transition and physical risk factors into their Credit Assessment frameworks and understanding the potential impact of these on their credit portfolios
+ Providing tools and Analytics that underpin large global corporations moving toward customer and supplier credit assessment workflow automation
Sales of the CS suite of products frequently drive sales of additional Market Intelligence desktop, workflow and data feed solutions fueling growth beyond the CS business, contributing to growth across MI and other divisions of S&P Global.
This is a critical role in the CS Sales Leadership organization. As a Manager you will be part of a dynamic leadership team demonstrating the growth potential of the CS suite with dedicated sales focus in Corporates. You will have the opportunity to influence product and commercial strategy providing the voice of the customer based on your knowledge of customers and competitors and feedback from your team and their client conversations.
As the CS business grows, there will be opportunities for growth as a member of the leadership team.
The complimentary nature of CS products with other solutions across the MI, means you will have opportunities to build and grow your existing relationships with stakeholders across the MI division and across S&P Global.
+ Meet Team New Business goal / quota which can be achieved through:
+ Selling new CS products into existing clients
+ and selling new CS products into white space
+ Build and execute on Team Territory strategy and identify opportunities for growth and expansion, driving execution by your team on a variety of campaigns and other tactics to capture those opportunities
+ Collaborate with Market Development, Prospecting and Marketing to design and maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.
+ Reinforce structured and disciplined approach to tracking activity, pipeline accuracy and forecasting
+ Reinforce a customer focused, diagnostic selling approach
+ Support your team as they Identify and develop revenue synergy and cross-sell opportunities and track team performance against these objectives
+ Be seen as a credit and risk expert amongst your peers and clients, and support your team as they continue to build and maintain a knowledge of current industry and economic events impacting our clients and the relevance of our products
+ Partner closely with your peers in important stakeholder teams such as Account Management, Product Management, Market Development, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal and Client Support
**Compensation/Benefits Information:** (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,192 to $183,028. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
The CS sales organization value partnership, relationships and communication. It is crucial that you model these attributes. In addition, we are looking for:
+ A strong commercial mindset. Prior experience managing teams of sellers in particular related to selling solutions to credit and risk personas
+ Strong communication, organization, presentation, and negotiation skills. Confidence leading internal and external meetings
+ Creative thinking and problem solving to drive solutions that address client needs with the CS suite of solutions
+ Collaboration with sales and account manager teams and other stakeholders across CS, RVS and Market Intelligence to identify and drive synergy and cross sell opportunities
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
+ 10 + years relevant experience
+ Highly proficient in MS Office and using CRM systems
