Weston & Sampson is looking for a Mechanic for our Yarmouth Facility with 1-2 years of experience for the Service operations division. The work involves multiple skills including, but not limited to, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment in water/wastewater pump stations and treatment plants.

What you’ll do:

+ Service, repair and maintain wastewater/water pump stations and treatment facility equipment

+ Knowledgeable of proper use and care for equipment and supplies; Maintain equipment and supplies and keep in good working order

+ Conduct troubleshooting and repairs of pump controls and basic electrical knowledge

+ Active participant in the installation and construction of new equipment and pump stations

+ Perform maintenance, repair and new installation of PVC, and ductile iron piping and valves.

+ Provide customer service in a professional and courteous manner.

+ Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed

What you will bring:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Experience with mechanical repairs

+ Strong interpersonal skills, including writing and verbal communication

+ Self-motivated and the ability to work independently

+ Ability to organize, manage, and coordinate multiple assignments

+ Computer skills including a Microsoft Office

+ Must be able to communicate through email & complete reports in a timely and complete manner

+ Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder, minimum of 15 feet

+ Valid Driver’s License

+ CDL preferred
