    About the Role

     

    Wellington is seeking a Video Producer to support the ideation and creation of video content across brand and product initiatives in the Wealth Channel. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the wealth management industry and have a proven track record of creating and executing successful video campaigns targeting financial advisors, distribution partners, and related audiences.

     

    The Video Producer collaborates with marketing, digital, and communications teams to develop, produce and edit videos, transforming complex financial concepts into clear and captivating visual content for various platforms while ensuring compliance and brand consistency.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    + Content Strategy & Development:

    + Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and subject matter experts to develop video content ideas aligned with marketing and business goals.

    + Translate complex financial information into understandable video stories.

    + Create storyboards and scripts for various video formats.

    + Keep up-to-date with industry trends, video marketing practices, and financial regulations.

    + Video Production & Editing:

    + Manage the entire video production process from planning to post-production.

    + Film high-quality video content both on location and in a studio setting.

    + Direct on-set productions and guide talent for optimal results.

    + Edit video footage, incorporating motion graphics, animations, and sound design.

    + Ensure all video content meets brand guidelines and regulatory compliance.

    + Optimize video content for different platforms like websites, social media, and internal channels.

    + Collaboration & Project Management:

    + Work with marketing, design, compliance, and leadership teams.

    + Handle multiple video projects simultaneously within deadlines and budget.

    + Coordinate production logistics, including locations, equipment, and scheduling.

    + Maintain an organized digital library of video content.

    + Communicate project status to stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The critical qualifications for the role include:

    + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Film, Video Production, Communications, or Marketing.

    + At least 3 years of professional video production and editing experience, preferably in financial services or a corporate setting.

    + Proficiency in video production and editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.

    + Understanding of video production techniques, such as lighting, sound, and camera operations.

    + Ability to transform complex information into clear, engaging visual narratives.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    + Good organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.

    + Demonstrated ability to follow brand guidelines and regulatory compliance.

    + Experience with branded video series or large campaigns.

    + Familiarity with presenting financial data visually.

    + Understanding of SEO and video performance metrics.

    + Experience with motion graphics and animation.

    At Wellington Management, our approach to compensation is designed to help us attract, inspire and retain the best talent in our industry. We strive to pay employees fairly and competitively across all levels and roles. Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

    USD 80,000 - 180,000

    This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

     

    Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
