Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Palmer, MA who is currently seeking qualified ABA Paras, Behavior Technicians (BTs), and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Position: ABA Para / BT / RBT

Description: Multiple openings available across grade levels, primarily in sub-separate classrooms. Assignments include 1:1 student support, small group instruction, and general classroom assistance. Greatest needs are at the Elementary and Middle School levels, with limited roles at the High School. Candidates should have at least one year of ABA experience and a background in supporting students with ASD, developmental disabilities, or behavioral/emotional challenges. Responsibilities may involve managing aggression, elopement, flopping, and self-injurious behaviors. Required skills include de-escalation techniques, trauma-informed care, behavioral data collection, discrete trial implementation, and the flexibility to assist in various classroom duties including recess, lunch, bus coverage, and toileting support.

Facility Type: Public K–12 School District

Start: August 2025

Duration: 36 weeks (full school year)

Hours: Monday–Friday, during school hours (varies by site)

Pay Rate:

+ Para 2: $24–$27/hour

+ RBT: $26–$29/hour

Requirements:

+ ABA experience strongly preferred

+ Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches, behavioral support techniques, and data tracking tools required
