Job Overview
As a Field Compliance Specialist at ACS, you will ensure compliance with prevailing wage and IRA regulations by conducting site visits, inspecting work conditions, and interviewing workers. You will collaborate with payroll specialists and compliance managers to identify and resolve issues, delivering clear reports and actionable recommendations. This role requires approximately 50% travel, analytical skills, and a professional approach to client interactions.
Location
Remote with travel to project sites as needed (approximately 50% travel).

Compensation
+ Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year
+ Additional: Travel pay provided for site visits

Key Responsibilities
+ Site Visit Preparation:
+ Review payroll and worker survey data to identify compliance issues for follow-up.
+ Develop interview plans to assess worker classifications, hours, and pay.
+ Coordinate with clients and compliance managers to confirm visit details.
+ Site Visit Execution:
+ Inspect sites, document equipment and materials, and verify required postings.
+ Conduct worker interviews to ensure compliance with labor regulations.
+ Review safety measures with clients and project coordinators.
+ Reporting and Support:
+ Deliver site visit reports with recommendations within 10 days.
+ Provide quarterly and project close-out compliance summaries.
+ Support client calls and audits, addressing compliance concerns.
+ Additional Duties:
+ Stay updated on labor regulations and ACS policies.
+ Represent ACS at outreach events as needed.
Performance Goals
+ Complete 95% of site visit reports within 10 days, achieving a client satisfaction rate of 90% or higher.
+ Resolve 80% of identified compliance issues within 30 days of site visits.
+ Conduct at least 10 worker interviews per site visit to ensure comprehensive compliance checks.
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, accounting, finance, or related field.
+ Experience: 3+ years in labor compliance, regulatory enforcement, or Project Labor Agreements.
+ Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of construction industry labor practices and regulations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
+ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and English communication skills.
+ Effective interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
+ Preferred: Experience in prevailing wage monitoring/auditing; Spanish fluency.
